A high-angle cowboy shot looks down at two girls sitting closely together on a sun-drenched wooden floor in cozy casual clothes, playfully sporting plush faux dog ears. The girl on the left has short, unruly light brown hair fastened with twin bright orange hair clips at her temple, vivid orange eyes, and flushed cheeks pulled into a wide, open-mouthed beaming laugh. Perched on a slender headband across her head are soft, floppy golden-brown puppy ears with pale peach inner fuzz. She wears an unzipped, oversized maize-yellow zip hoodie over a clean white crewneck t-shirt and rolled-cuff denim shorts; her left arm reaches behind her companion’s back, resting lightly against the fabric of her shoulder, while her right hand is raised beside her cheek, fingers tucked loosely into a playful curled paw gesture. Leaning heavily into her side is the girl on the right, whose vibrant blonde hair is gathered into spiky side twintails tied with dark green scrunchies, crowned by perky, triangular cream-and-tan dog ears nestled into her crown. Her bright emerald green eyes sparkle as she winks with one eye and flashes a mischievous, toothy grin. She wears a slouchy mint-green ribbed knit sweater slipping slightly off one collarbone over a dark pleated skirt, holding both hands up in front of her chest in an eager double paw pose with fingers bent playfully toward the viewer. Warm afternoon sunlight slants through a sheer curtain from the right, throwing a faint cross-hatch shadow pattern across the polished floorboards, haloing the fine fleece fibers of their dog ears in rim light, and catching a sharp specular highlight on the glossy surface of the orange hair clip. Playful and heartwarming.
