A medium shot from a 3/4 view depicts a young man with black hair tied in a ponytail walking through a desolate World War I trench, with other soldiers in uniform following closely behind him. He has sharp red eyes behind glasses and wears a formal black military coat and uniform, complete with a black military hat and black gloves; he holds a lit cigarette in his right hand, exhaling a thin trail of smoke. The surrounding environment is a muddy, narrow trench carved into the earth, with wooden supports and sandbags lining the walls. Above, a heavy, oppressive cloudy sky casts a somber mood over the scene. The visual style is an anime illustration with a painterly touch, characterized by sketchy linework and soft blended shading. Dramatic, high-contrast lighting creates deep shadows and bright highlights, emphasizing the gritty and melancholic atmosphere of the battlefield.
