The girl is in the process of shrinking, causing her black bodysuit to hang in heavy, oversized folds of fabric that swallow her frame; the long sleeves extend well past her wrists, completely covering her hands and fingers. Her round face is flushed with a deep blush, her mouth closed, and she looks straight up at the viewer through oversized glasses that slide slightly down her nose. Her long white hair is held back by a black hairband, falling around her shoulders. Because of her reduced height, the bodysuit's pant legs bunch and extend far past her feet, and her black high-heel boots are unworn and loose, slipping off her heels as she is suspended in the air. The scene is set against a seamless, neutral light-grey studio background, illuminated by a soft, diffuse overhead light that casts a gentle shadow beneath her. The palette is dominated by the stark contrast of her white hair and the deep black of the baggy fabric. Effortlessly cute.
