A view from the side and slightly behind, capturing the contrast in scale between the two figures. A towering woman with very long black hair and a wide-brimmed sun hat stands in a traditional Japanese washitsu; her back is turned to the camera, her body angled slightly. A man stands directly behind her, his arms reaching around her waist to pull her wrists together behind her lower back. He is in the process of tightening a thick hemp rope in a takate-kote binding, the coarse fibers of the rope biting into the white fabric of her sleeveless dress and pressing her shoulder blades together. The woman's head is turned back over her shoulder toward the man, her blue eyes half-closed and her cheeks flushed with a heavy blush, a seductive, breathless smile on her lips. The only light source is a distant, dim paper lamp in the corner of the room, casting long, deep shadows across the tatami mats and leaving the edges of the room in absolute darkness. The rope is pulled taut, creating visible tension lines in the fabric of her white dress where the bindings cross her torso. Quietly sensual.
