Vocaloid Kamui Gakupo Megurine Luka
💜💗💜💗💜 Story 💗💜💗💜💗 School Memories Beneath the Sunset The two of them continued walking slowly along the hallway. The sun was already lower than before. Golden-orange light streamed through the windows, falling across the doors of the empty classrooms and their figures walking side by side. The school building after classes was so quiet that it felt a little unfamiliar. The hallway, which was usually filled with footsteps, conversations, and laughter during the day, now held nothing but the occasional sound of the breeze. Luka was still holding onto Gakupo’s arm. She was in no hurry to go home. Gakupo did not urge her either. They simply walked slowly, as if they wanted to make this ordinary walk home last a little longer. When they reached the corner near the stairs, Luka suddenly stopped. “Gakupo.” “Hmm?” She did not answer immediately. Instead, she looked out through the window. From there, they could see most of the school grounds. There were hardly any students left on the field. The basketball hoops stood quietly beneath the sunset. The trees in the distance swayed gently in the evening breeze, while the road outside the school was gradually covered by twilight. Luka quietly watched the view for a while. “I suddenly feel…” Her voice was soft. “This place seems much quieter than before.” Gakupo stood beside her. “School’s over.” “I know.” Luka smiled slightly. “But I never used to notice it.” Her gaze slowly moved across the familiar campus. “Every day, we went to class, had breaks, attended club activities, did our cleaning duty… I always felt like these things would just keep repeating.” Gakupo said nothing. He looked outside as well. They had seen this scenery countless times before, yet somehow, at this moment, it seemed slightly unfamiliar. Luka suddenly whispered, “We’re going to graduate soon, aren’t we?” Gakupo was slightly taken aback. He did not answer immediately. Because he had thought about it too. He simply had never said it aloud. “Yeah.” Finally, he answered softly. “It really does feel soon.” Luka lowered her head. “There’s still some time.” “But it still feels soon.” “Yeah.” She gently nodded. The two of them stood by the window. Neither spoke for a while. The breeze passed through the school grounds, carrying a faint chill. Luka looked toward the distant field and suddenly smiled. “After we graduate, there will still be lots of students here, right?” “Probably.” “Someone will sit in the places where we used to sit.” “Yeah.” “And someone will walk through this hallway.” “Yeah.” “And they might never even know that we used to walk here together every day.” Gakupo looked at her. “That’s okay.” Luka turned toward him. “Why?” “Because those are our memories.” Luka was quiet for a few seconds. Her eyes softened. “You really know how to say things sometimes.” “I’m just telling the truth.” “There you go again.” She could not help laughing. But after the laughter faded, a hint of reluctance remained in her eyes. “I actually don’t want to graduate yet.” Gakupo looked at her. Luka spoke softly. “It’s not that I don’t look forward to the future.” “It’s just…” She paused. “After we graduate, we won’t be able to see each other at school every day like this anymore, right?” This time, Gakupo did not answer immediately. He knew what she truly hated to leave behind. It was not the school building. Not the classroom. Not even the familiar school bell. It was those seemingly ordinary days that had quietly become part of their lives. Seeing each other when they entered the classroom in the morning. Talking together during breaks. Walking slowly through the hallway after school. Sometimes simply sitting in the same place while each of them quietly worked on their own things. All of these things were ordinary beyond measure. Yet when she imagined them ending one day, she suddenly realized how much she treasured them. Gakupo spoke softly. “Even after graduation, it doesn’t mean everything ends.” Luka looked at him. “I know.” “We can still see each other.” “Yeah.” “We can still walk together.” “Yeah.” “We can have meals together too.” A small smile slowly appeared on Luka’s lips. “And we can still talk.” “Yeah.” “What if I miss the school?” Gakupo looked at her. “I’ll come back here with you.” Luka froze for a moment. “Really?” “Really.” “What if I just want to see our old classroom?” “That’s fine.” “What if I only want to stand here and watch the sunset?” “That’s fine too.” Luka looked at him. The sadness in her eyes slowly faded. “Do you agree to everything I ask?” Gakupo thought for a moment. “Not everything.” “For example?” “If you want to secretly be sad all by yourself, I won’t agree.” Luka was slightly stunned. “…Why?” “Because I’ll stay with you.” It was such a simple sentence. Yet it left Luka speechless. She lowered her head, still gently holding onto his arm. After a while, she moved a little closer. “Then I won’t be secretly sad.” “Okay.” “If I really feel reluctant to leave, I’ll tell you.” “Okay.” “And if I cry on graduation day, you can’t laugh at me.” “I won’t.” “And you’re not allowed to secretly cry either.” Gakupo was silent for a moment. “…I’ll try.” Luka finally laughed. “So that means you might cry.” “What about you?” “Me?” “You’ll cry too, won’t you?” Luka wanted to deny it, but eventually she simply nodded. “Maybe.” The two of them looked outside again. The sun was gradually disappearing. The lights around the school grounds began turning on one by one. Graduation had not actually arrived yet. They still had time. But the moment they seriously realized that their school life would eventually come to an end, a faint sense of reluctance still rose in their hearts. Luka softly said, “Then before graduation…” “Hmm?” “We should make more memories together.” Gakupo looked at her. “Okay.” “Walk through these hallways together.” “Okay.” “Sit together in the classroom.” “Okay.” “And don’t rush to leave after school.” “Okay.” Luka smiled. “You always just say ‘okay.’” “Because I agree with you.” She looked at him for a few seconds before gently leaning closer to his shoulder. “Then it’s a promise.” “Yeah.” Neither of them spoke again. They simply stood side by side by the hallway window, watching the familiar school gradually become surrounded by night. Perhaps many things would change in the future. Perhaps they would eventually leave this school building and walk toward completely different lives. But at least right now, they were still here. They could still watch the sunset together. They could still walk through the familiar hallways. They could still wait for each other after school. So although graduation was drawing closer, it had not truly arrived yet. And before that day came, they still had plenty of time to treasure each ordinary day and keep it safely in their memories. “Gakupo。”
