Junko's New Year Mishap - Blue Archive

I just had to draw Junko from Blue Archive, and it looks like her New Year's luck has completely run out in the most explosive way! I've always loved her chaotic energy, but seeing her so panicked while her mochi turns into a crater is just too amusing. If you enjoy this disaster-prone cutie, please leave a like and follow me for more Blue Archive art! Let me know what you think in the comments~

Her long, fiery crimson twintails flare outward with the sudden backward jerk of her body, tied with dark ribbons, while curved black horns rise above her pointed ears and an ahoge trembles overhead. Her scarlet eyes are stretched wide in disbelief around pinprick pupils, her mouth dropped open in an agonized, heartbroken wail. Her hands hover frozen at her chest, empty fingers curled into trembling claws where the skewer slipped away, while small black wings twitch behind her back as she stumbles back in her yellow and black layered kimono uniform. In the foreground, a searing, pencil-thin laser beam lances diagonally into the asphalt, detonating the rice dumplings into flying, blackened embers and charred crumbs. The wooden skewer snaps into smoking splinters above a glowing molten scorch mark on the pavement. The blinding intensity of the blast casts harsh, upward rim lighting across the underside of her jaw, nose, and wide eyes, while shimmering heat-distortion waves ripple through the air above the sizzling crater as dark smoke curls skyward. Devastated comedic shock.
