Meet my new Wood element Scarecrow Guardian OC, Silvanus (Title: The Crypt-Keeper of the Brambles)! 🪵🎃 🔮 Element & Aura The Rotting Canopy: His wood magic manifests as a heavy, suffocating dark green aura. Swirling toxic-green mist, floating crisp autumn leaves, and thorny briars orbit his body, making the entire forest floor rumble when he channels his magic. ⚡ Power & Abilities Arboreal Manipulation: Silvanus can control every root, vine, and branch in the dark forest. He can cause thick, jagged wooden spikes to erupt from the soil to trap intruders or instantly block paths with thorny walls. The Scarecrow’s Curse: If a female thief breaks his laws, his dark wood aura infects them, slowly turning their skin to dark brown bark and their hair to autumn leaves, transforming them into a permanent scarecrow companion. Root-Slam: He can channel his magic through his massive wooden staff, sending a rolling seismic wave through the tree roots to throw invaders off balance. 🧠 The 3-Way Personality 1. The Hollow Judge (The Public Face): On the outside, Silvanus looks like a blank, emotionless nightmare. He speaks in an eerie, echoing creak that sounds like old branches scraping together. He doesn't show fear, joy, or mercy to standard trespassers, enforcing the rules of his dark forest with cold, unblinking authority. 2. The Lonely Nature Lover (Inner Core): Deep down beneath the terrifying bark armor, Silvanus is incredibly lonely and just wants to protect his fields and trees. He actually has a soft side and loves watching peaceful humans take quiet morning walks through the woods, intentionally clearing the path for anyone who respects nature. 3. The Cartoon Romantic (The Hilarious Trigger): He is desperately looking for a scarecrow queen! If a male thief tries to steal from his farm, Silvanus completely ignores him out of sheer boredom. But the exact moment a female thief tries to steal, he goes into full Looney Tunes cartoon mode! He gets intensely jealous, targets her immediately, and uses his magic to turn her into a scarecrow. Once she transforms, he drops his scary act completely, hearts practically pop out of his green eyes, and he becomes a totally infatuated, love-struck sweetheart! 📖 Extended Backstory Silvanus was born from the ancient, forgotten roots of a dark forest under a single, perpetual moonrise. For centuries, he stood as a silent, tattered scarecrow, watching humans slowly destroy the nature around him. Fusing with the wood element, he became the ultimate Crypt-Keeper of the woods. He doesn't seek to destroy humanity; he simply enforces the ancient laws of the forest floor. He protects the morning travelers who love nature, but keeps a very close eye out for a female thief who might just become the scarecrow queen of his dreams. 🌆 Present Story: His Daily Life Now Today, Silvanus patrols the deep, misty borders of his dark forest domain. He spends his early mornings leaning perfectly still against an ancient oak, pretending to be a normal scarecrow while secretly smiling as peaceful human travelers enjoy their early morning walks through the trees. His nights, however, are governed by a strict, eerie system of choices. If a vandal arrives with an axe to cut down the trees, Silvanus immediately moves, using his root manipulation to trap and severely injure them to drive them out of his woods permanently. But if his alarms trip on the farm, his reaction depends entirely on who it is. If it's a male thief, he simply turns his back and ignores them with a sigh. But if a female thief steps into the pumpkin patch, Silvanus slides through the shadows, his eyes flaring green as he traps her in thorny vines to turn her into a scarecrow companion. The moment the transformation is complete, he immediately shifts from a terrifying monster into a doting, love-struck partner, proudly showing her around his beautiful, moonlit forest. 💬 Character Quotes "Walk in peace when the sun rises, and the trees will whisper your name safely. But touch an axe... and the forest will strike back." "A male thief? How boring. Put down my pumpkins and get out of my sight, I don't have time for you." "Oh... a lady thief? Stop right there! My fields are dangerous, but if you stay right here, your autumn leaf hair will match mine perfectly! We will be magnificent together!"
