13 subjects, 1 elderly man, 12 animals, rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, boar, buried in animals, pile of animals, from above, high angle, smiling, closed eyes, hugging, cuddly, soft lighting, pastel colors A high-angle view looking down upon a kindly elderly man with white hair and a white mustache, dressed in a traditional dark navy kimono, who is almost entirely buried under a mountain of twelve small, chubby zodiac animals. He reclines on a soft, seamless cream-colored floor, his expression one of serene happiness with closed eyes and a gentle smile, his arms partially visible as he is hugged from all sides. The animals are piled in a dense, affectionate heap: a small grey rat and a fluffy white rabbit nestle against his chest; a sturdy pale grey-brown ox rests its heavy head on his shoulder; a glossy white snake loops softly around his neck; a chestnut horse and a brown-and-white floppy-eared dog nuzzle his sides; a cream-colored woolly sheep and a small bristly boar burrow into the base of the pile, compressing the fabric of his kimono. An orange tiger cub with bold stripes drapes itself across the group, while a slender sky-blue serpentine dragon with a flowing mane coils gently around the perimeter. Perched atop the summit of the pile, a small brown monkey clings playfully to the others, and a plump red-orange rooster settles close to the man's head. Soft, diffused light from above casts pale, blurred shadows, emphasizing the plush textures of fur, wool, and scales in a palette of warm pastels and deep indigo. The weight of the animals causes the kimono to bunch and fold deeply beneath them. Tender and heartwarming.
