A high-angle shot looks down onto the weathered concrete expanse of a school rooftop. A young girl crouches low on both heels with her knees gathered inward, balancing her weight forward over scuffed dark boots while her dark pleated skirt settles neatly against her calves. Her left hand rests lightly on her knee for stability, while the fingertips of her right hand hover millimeters above a lone yellow dandelion pushing upward through a fine fissure in the pavement. Her head is tilted upward directly toward the camera, her wide purple tareme eyes wide with timid, self-effacing hesitation, accompanied by a soft nervous blush across her cheeks and slightly parted lips. Messy, uneven layers of dark purple hair frame her face with sidelocks and fringe hanging between her eyes, topped by a slightly askew dark garrison cap and a hovering, spiky geometric halo. Behind her, a galvanized chain-link security fence lines the perimeter of the roof, its diamond wire mesh throwing sharp geometric cross-hatch shadows onto the sunlit concrete slabs. In the background, the view opens into a wide pale blue sky streaked with thin cirrus clouds over the faint silhouettes of distant buildings. Strong afternoon sunlight from the upper right outlines the rim of her coat and hair, while a persistent rooftop breeze sweeps loose strands of purple hair across her temple and carries a single white dandelion seed drifting horizontally past her sleeve. The palette is defined by industrial concrete grays and deep school uniform blues, accented by rich purple hair and the saturated yellow dot of the solitary blossom. Quietly endearing, fragile.
