New Year's Shogi Match

I'm absolutely captivated by the serene focus of this green-haired character as she leans forward to make her move in a game of shogi. The way her vibrant hair contrasts with the elegant red floral kimono creates such a beautiful New Year's atmosphere that I just can't get enough of. If you enjoy this piece, please give it a like and follow for more art, and feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments!

character: mikadono_miwa 1girl, solo, short hair, green hair, multicolored hair, blonde inner hair, yellow eyes, black nail polish, kimono, floral print, long sleeves, obi, traditional japanese clothing, playing shogi, holding shogi piece, shogi board, shogiban, shogi pieces, washitsu, tatami, sitting, seiza, leaning forward, high angle, cowboy shot, confident, smirk, focused Viewed from a high angle looking down across the surface of a thick kaya-wood shogi board, a teenage girl with layered short green hair styled with pale blonde inner streaks and bright yellow eyes sits in formal seiza posture upon tatami matting, leaning assertively forward over the game grid. She is dressed in an authentic Japanese kimono of rich silk patterned with intricate plum blossoms and flowing floral motifs, bound at the midriff with a crisp, wide obi sash; the billowing sleeve of her right arm folds back smoothly toward the elbow to free her wrist. Her right hand extends forward, deftly pinching a pentagonal wooden shogi piece between index and middle finger, poised a fraction of an inch above a designated square in the final strike of a master game, while her left hand rests flat against her lap, bearing her forward weight. Her gaze fixes intently on the board with an amused, prodigy's smirk curving the corner of her lips. The surrounding setting is a serene traditional washitsu, with paper-paneled shoji screens diffuse in the soft-focus background and a wooden piece stand resting beside the board displaying neatly arranged captured tokens. Natural daylight streams through the shoji screens from the upper left, casting defined geometrical shadows from the wooden pieces across the tatami grain and highlighting the brush-ink kanji on each block. A faint draft from an opened corridor gently lifts a loose forelock of her green hair away from her brow. Focused intensity.
