The massive knees crush deep into the fractured asphalt, sending spiderweb fissures through the road surface. Lining the sidewalks are diminutive three-meter-tall streetlamps, completely unlit, standing at tooth-pick scale relative to the forty-meter kneeling titan. A raging fire burns out of frame to the left, casting violent orange and amber rim light across the left edges of its matte-black chassis, horns, and flared wing surfaces, creating rising thermal air ripples and smoke against the nocturnal blackness, countered only by the cool, stark blue emission from its weeping lens eyes. Tragic despair.
