More to See

copyright: hokuto_no_ken 1boy, solo, powerful villain, post-apocalyptic martial arts master, imposing muscular physique, long flowing wavy hair, hair blown back, looking down, looking down at viewer, condescending gaze, half-closed eyes, from below, extreme low angle, worm's-eye view, standing, standing on ledge, building ledge, rooftop edge, post-apocalyptic ruined cityscape, villainous post-apocalyptic armor, large white cape, billowing cape, protruding iron shoulder pads, spiked pauldrons, iron bracers, iron greaves, iron armor, final-boss villain aura, glowing aura, rising energy, bold hatched line shading, cross-hatching, heavy ink lines, high contrast, dramatic shadows, wide shot, dutch angle, Seen from far below, an extreme worm's-eye view looking straight up: a lone towering martial-arts master stands at the very lip of a shattered rooftop ledge, boots planted astride the broken concrete edge, both iron greaves braced wide and one heel forward so his weight rides the front foot while the rear leg anchors him. His chin is tipped down, lids half lowered, one brow flat and heavy, mouth set in a slow flat line, and his eyes bore directly down the line of the ledge into the viewer -- the head-to-toe downward stare of a man who owns everything beneath him. His long wavy hair lifts and streams sideways off his shoulders in the updraft, each wave catching the hot light in separate glossy ribbons. The armor is the silhouette: two huge iron shoulder pads jut outward and up past the line of his jaw, riveted plates pitted and rust-scabbed, edges blunt-but-brutal; thick iron bracers sheath both forearms to the wrist, one fist clenched at his side, the other hand hanging loose and open over the drop. A massive white cape hangs from the shoulder plates, its hem whipping out and bellies away from the ledge, the white fabric the brightest shape in the frame and the only large area of pale value. Beneath it his chest and hips are strapped in dark layered plates and banded leather. Below him, in the middle and lower distance, the ruins of a dead city: broken towers, toppled rebar, dust-hazed canyons of collapsed concrete, all rendered small and low so that he reads as a giant against the sky. Behind him a low sun sits just past his shoulder, so the light rims the iron shoulder pads and the iron bracers in a hard hot line, plunges his front into deep shadow, and throws the cape's underside into cool grey. A visible aura erupts around him -- pale cyan-white energy streaming upward off his back and shoulders in sharp flaring tongues, sparks curling off the shoulder plates, the glow kicking cold light onto the underside of his chin and the inside of the cape. Everything is drawn in bold hatched line shading: dense cross-hatch in the shadow masses, hard unbroken outlines, engraved hatching across the iron plate and the folds of the cape, plotted directional hatching raking the sky behind him to push the figure forward. The updraft from the drop is made visible by the cape's hem and hair streaming the same direction, while a single loose chip of concrete tips off the ledge and hangs in the air just beside his boot. Grey, dust-ochre and rusted iron against that one surge of cyan aura and the blaze of the white cape. Overwhelming, apocalyptic menace.
