More to See

character: mita_(miside), copyright: miside pov, 1girl, solo, mita \(miside\), long blue hair, red hairband, hair ornament, two-tone eyes, blue eye, purple eye, robotic red eye, cracked faceplate, cracked skin, exposed mechanical eye socket, yandere, manic grin, wide open mouth, sharp teeth, grabbing at viewer, outstretched arms, reaching toward viewer, hands toward viewer, crawling out of television, television, glass shards, screen frame, from above, close-up, foreshortening, dutch angle, looking at viewer, direct eye contact, drool, bare shoulders, white shirt, blue pleated skirt, pantyhose First-person point of view, camera tilted slightly into a dutch angle and pushed close, looking up from where the viewer has fallen: a young woman with long blue hair is hauling herself out of a television set, her upper body thrust through the shattered screen toward the lens, weight on her forearms braced on the screen's lower bezel, hips still trapped inside the dark cabinet behind her. Her red hairband sits askew in sweat-damp blue bangs, framing a face split open: a hairline crack runs from her left cheekbone up across the eye socket, the porcelain faceplate broken away in a jagged wedge to expose a bare mechanical socket where her left eye burns a hard glowing red, lens rings and fine servo wires visible inside the cavity, while her intact right eye stays wide, purple and blue, both fixed dead-on into the camera with an adoring, unblinking stare. Her mouth is torn wide open in a manic grin, lips stretched back over glistening teeth and a dark throat, a thin strand of drool breaking from her lower lip as she lunges; both arms are thrown forward out of the frame toward the viewer, fingers splayed and hooked in a grabbing grip, one hand nearer the lens and hugely foreshortened. Her bare shoulders and white shirt are smudged with dust from the broken glass, her blue pleated skirt bunched against the screen edge, and shards of the shattered display hang and fall around her arms, catching the light. The room behind her is a dim living room lit only by the television's own glow spilling cold from the screen's interior onto her chest, throat and the underside of her chin, leaving her back and the room's far side in deep shadow; the red robotic eye throws a small hot reflection onto the glass fragments nearest it. Palette held to cold screen-blue, her blue hair and skirt, the warm white of her shirt, and the single searing red of the mechanical eye and hairband, with the black of the screen mouth swallowing her hips. Dust motes drift in the screen light, glass grit slides off the bezel's top edge where it settles only on the upward-facing lip of the frame. Feral, hungry adoration.
