A Sweet Stage Embrace

I just had to capture this beautiful moment of these two lovebirds on stage, surrounded by a sea of fans. The way they hold each other so tenderly while the world watches is just so heartwarming to me. If you love this romantic vibe as much as I do, please hit like and follow for more art! Let me know what you think in the comments~

More to See

2girls, 1boy, 2girls, couple, kiss, stage, from side, profile, cowboy shot, black hair, short black hair, black eyes, k-pop idol, male idol, cropped black satin jacket, silver embroidery, sheer white shirt, black trousers, high-waisted, silver chain, chubby, curvy, oversized pastel pink t-shirt, denim shorts, high ponytail, white ribbon, tall, broad shoulders, medium breasts, arms around neck, hands on shoulders, hands on waist, leaning forward, tiptoes, eyes closed, blush, stage lights, spotlight, dark background, bokeh, dramatic lighting, dutch angle, vertical The shot is a low, from-side profile framed in a vertical cowboy shot: the tall black-haired male idol stands at the front edge of a concert stage, seen from his left, body angled three-quarters toward the woman and toward the crowd, while the chubby fan rises on her toes in front of him, seen nearly full profile. His right hand spreads at the small of her back over the pastel pink of the oversized t-shirt, pulling the loose cotton taut across her shoulder blades; his left hand cups the back of her head where the high ponytail is gathered in its white ribbon, tilting her face up. Both of her hands land on his shoulders, one gripping the edge of the cropped black satin jacket where the silver embroidery catches the light, the other splayed against the sheer white shirt at his chest, fingers dimpling the fabric. Their lips are pressed together, neither of them looking anywhere — his eyes are closed and hers are closed too, lashes down, brows slightly drawn. His support foot is planted back and flat on the stage deck, weight rolling forward onto the front foot so that his shoulder drops toward her; she leans her whole upper body into him from the tiptoe, her balance given entirely to his arm. Her ponytail pulls back and away from the kiss with the tilt of her head, and the white ribbon's short tails lift apart from each other in the draft of the stage fans. Rectangular light from a side stage spotlight rakes across their faces from frame left, brightening the edge of his jaw and her cheekbone and dropping the far side of both faces into shadow; a hard-edged cast shadow of his shoulder and her raised arm falls across the stage deck at their feet, and a second, cooler light from behind the drum riser rims her hair and his shoulders in a thin white outline. Behind them the stage falls away into near-black, broken only by out-of-focus phone screens held up in the dark of the audience and a haze of airborne confetti dust adrift in the beams. Palette held to charcoal and satin black, the cool white of the sheer shirt and the rim light, and one pastel pink mass in the middle of the frame, with the silver chain and the silver embroidery the only metallic accents. Detail budget concentrated on the two faces in contact, the pinch of fabric under each hand, and the shine of the satin's folds; the crowd and the stage rigging stay soft. Gray-leaning anime illustration built from clean color blocks and soft painterly gradients, minimal linework, smooth surfaces and controlled highlights, muted palette with the single pink accent; a sweaty, tender, bright-loud moment.
