Mystical Forest Furry

I absolutely adore the serene vibe of this furry creation perched high in the trees! The delicate insect wings and playful digitigrade stance give him such a unique, enchanting presence that really captures my imagination. If you love this nature spirit as much as I do, please leave a like and follow for more fantasy art! I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Wolf the Werewolf

More to See

solo, 1boy, young male, werewolf bee dragon hybrid, black and yellow fur, long fur, full body, bee wings mixed with dragon wings, four transparent wings, veined membrane wings with dragon claw spurs at the wrist joints, striped black-and-yellow abdomen, hexagon pixel, hexagonal pixel pattern on fur, bee print loincloth, primitive loincloth, single hide loincloth, jungle, standing on one leg, crouching, leaning forward, arms up, looking up, from below, foreshortening, wide shot, open mouth, :d, fang, claws, tail, animal ears, fluffy tail The camera looks up from low among the roots: a full-body wide shot from below, foreshortened so the young male hybrid looms over the lens, one bare foot planted flat on a mossy root and the other drawn up onto a second root, knees bent, torso leaned far forward over the camera with both clawed arms flung up and open, caught mid-shout of a jungle call. His build is lean and young, chest narrow, shoulders not yet filled out; long shaggy black and yellow fur runs in two ragged tones — a black dorsal mass from crown to tail root, yellow on the chest, belly, inner arms, muzzle and the fur fringes at elbow and calf — and hangs past his jaw in loose tufts, longer at the elbows and around the ankle cuffs, its tips lifting and separating where the wingbeat pushes air down. The muzzle is wolfish and short, nose black, ears tall and furry at the top of the skull; the mouth is open on a fanged grin, tongue up, one yellow eye squinting and the other wide, both aimed up over the camera's shoulder toward a gap in the canopy — he is howling at nothing in particular and enjoying it. His four wings rise from the shoulder blades: the upper pair longer and dragon-like, membrane stretched over two finger struts with a small hooked claw at each wrist joint, the lower pair smaller, rounded and insect-thin, all four panes transparent and faintly amber, their veins dark and branching, the hexagon pixel motif repeated as hard-edged hexagonal facets scattered across the fur of flank, thigh and shoulder like a pixel composite laid over the pelt, each cell bounded by a crisp black line. A primitive loincloth of one ragged cured-hide panel wraps his hips, its bee print stamped in black ink — banded bodies, hard little wing pairs, a few six-sided honeycomb stamps — the print distorted and stretched where the hide folds over one hip bone and torn at the lower edge; the front flap swings forward off his thigh as he leans, the back of the hide pressed flat against his tail root, and a long furry tail curls out behind his far calf. Contact: toes gripping bark, claws dimpling the moss, the hide cinched by a single knotted thong at the near hip, no other garment on him, nothing at his throat or wrists. The jungle closes in — broad wet leaves crossing the foreground out of focus at the lower frame edge, buttressed trunks stacked in the midground, a hot shaft of green-white sun cutting down through the canopy from upper left so the wings glow amber from behind and the underside of his muzzle and chest fall into cool green shadow, leaf shadows dappling the moss, and where the sun catches his back the cast shadow of the wings falls across a broad leaf as a doubled pair. Palette of jungle green, wet bark brown, black, and the yellow of the fur and the stamped print. Wild, sunlit.
