Key light is a single cold source from high left, raking down the steel to reveal every rivet head, every bolted seam and the engraved drafting marks, throwing long hard shadows to the right and back; beyond that light and the blue, the chamber corners go to absolute black. Steam occludes the deep corner at the right and thins out at the center. Dust and condensation beads on the horizontal rims of the rivets and on the upper shoulder of the wheel, and they stay dry on the undersides. Palette: near-black, paper white, drafting grey, warm dim red at the gauge dials, saturated electric blue-cyan at the energy channels, and nothing else. Claustrophobic, high-tension.
