character: takasugi_shinsuke, copyright: gintama 1boy, solo, takasugi shinsuke, short hair, purple hair, black hair, yellow eyes, grey eyes, mummy costume, halloween, wrapped in bandages, full body bandage wrap, bandages covering torso, bandages on arms, bandages on legs, loose bandage end trailing, sitting on stone ledge, one knee up, leaning forward, elbow on knee, chin resting on hand, head tilt, sideways glance, looking to the side, half-closed eyes, light smile, smug, from below, three-quarter view, night, full moon, bare tree branches, wrought iron fence, jack-o'-lantern, cast shadow, cool moonlight, purple and amber palette, cinematic The camera sits low and looks up at him from three-quarter left: he is perched on a low stone ledge beside a wrought-iron fence, one knee drawn up with the foot planted flat, the other leg hanging with the boot's toe just off the paving stones, his weight rolled back onto the right hip and that forearm braced behind him on the stone. His left elbow rests on the raised knee, the chin settled into the palm so the head tilts, cheek pressed slightly by the heel of the hand. Every part of him above the eyes and below the jaw is wrapped in off-white bandages — the skull cap of linen ends in a ragged edge across the forehead, a few strands of short dark purple hair escape at the temple and the nape, and the diagonal wraps cross his throat, chest, waist, both forearms and both thighs in overlapping layers that leave narrow slivers of skin at the collarbone and one knee. One loose bandage end hangs from his left wrist and swings slightly forward, away from his body. His eyes are half-lidded, irises a muted yellow-grey catching the moonlight, and he looks off to the right, past the fence, not at the lens; the corner of his visible mouth curls in a faint lopsided smile, a single brow slightly arched above the bandage edge. A jack-o'-lantern sits on the paving to his right, well below the ledge, its carved mouth glowing warm amber and throwing a small pool of orange light up the undersides of his hanging boot and the loose bandage tail. The full moon stands high behind the bare branches to the left, cool blue-white, rim-lighting the top of his wrapped head and the upward-facing planes of the ledge while the space between the two lights falls into deep violet shadow; the pumpkin casts his own long shadow leftward across the flagstones, stretched because the light source is low and close. The palette is strictly cold violet-blue, bone off-white and one warm amber note at the pumpkin. Bare black branches and a scatter of fallen leaves frame the upper corners; the background beyond the fence is a soft, dark, indistinct mass. The bandage weave — individual strips, the fraying at each torn end, the slight grease of the fabric where it crosses the knee — carries the detail budget, with the fit of the wraps and the contact of palm to chin kept crisp. Quietly wicked, atmospheric.
