Danger was created as the result of the technology of the Danger Room manifesting into a sentient being in the aftermath of the Shi'ar homeworld, Chandilar, being "collected" by the Champion. She joined Storm in her efforts to challenge the Champion as a member of the Unbreakable X-Men.
