1 monstrous ATM machine, solo, no humans, machine monster, ATM, frightened expression, scared face, wide terrified eyes, small pupils, trembling, jagged metallic mouth, cash dispenser slot as a toothy maw, glowing red ocular sensors, rusted claw-like mechanical arms, metallic claws gripping its own casing, recoiling backward, weight tipped onto one rear corner, dented scratched steel casing, faded bank decals, keypad with worn buttons, receipt slot, bank note tray, dim lobby, from below, dutch angle, close-up, foreshortening, night, cold fluorescent lighting, harsh overhead glow, deep shadows, teal and rust palette, eerie mood
The camera sits low and tilted, looking up from floor level at a dutch angle, so the single monstrous ATM machine looms over the lens while still reading as a cowering thing: its boxy steel body leans back away from the viewer, tipped onto one rear corner with the front face tilted up and to the left. It has a face, and that face is afraid — two glowing red ocular sensors gone wide with small bright pupils darting sideways, the metal brow plate buckled upward in alarm, and a jagged metallic mouth set where the cash dispenser should be, its serrated teeth clamped shut on a thin nervous line, the note tray jutting out slightly like a lip bitten in fear. Both rusted claw-like mechanical arms are pulled up in front of the casing in a defensive huddle, claws gripping the machine's own dented side panel, joints pressed close, as though it is trying to make itself small; the whole chassis trembles, and a single sheet of banknotes has slipped out of the tray and hangs caught in the teeth of the mouth. The keypad glows faintly under the claws, buttons worn smooth at their centers, and the scratched steel casing throws a hard cold highlight along its upper edge.
The machine stands alone in a dim bank lobby at night, framed by a dark floor and an out-of-focus wall of pale teller counters behind it, no other figures present. A single overhead fluorescent panel is the only light source: it strikes the top bevel of the casing and the rims of the ocular sensors, leaves the mouth and the underside of the note tray in pooled shadow, and casts a short soft shadow directly beneath the tilted base. Palette is held to cold fluorescent teal-white, the deep blue-black of the lobby, and the rust-orange of the claws and the worn decals, with the red of the eyes as the one hot accent. Surfaces read as scratched brushed steel, chipped paint and oxidized iron, rendered in clean anime linework with crisp cel shading. Quiet dread.
