seen from below at a low wide angle, the single figure stands alone on a moonlit stone terrace, caught mid-spin with the whole body turning, weight carried on the ball of the left foot while the right foot trails just off the ground with the toe pointed; both arms are flung outward, the left arm raised higher and curved so the wrist leads the gesture, the right arm lower and open, palms upward, fingers relaxed and spread; the head tips back so the chin lifts and the eyes, half-closed, look up past the raised hand into the night sky, and the lips hold a faint closed-mouth smile. Long purple hair fans out around the shoulders, strands lifted outward by the spin and floating at the tips, and a long sheer silk stole loops from both forearms and sweeps across the body in a wide arc, bellied out and rippling from the turn, its far end drifting behind the waist. The costume is that of a heavenly maiden: a layered robe of pale blue, silver-white and pale lilac silk, translucent overlapping panels with wide trailing sleeves that hang open and swing outward with the motion, a fitted high-waisted bodice, and a long skirt of thin drifting layers that flare out from the turned hips — no other garment, no heavy jewel-set ornaments at the neck or shoulders. Above, a low camera angle puts the enormous full moon behind and above the figure so it haloes the head and shoulders; the moon is the only light source, cool and silver-blue, and it picks out the raised forearm, the wide open sleeve, the upper edge of the shoulder and the lifted cheek in bright rim light, while the front of the body and the underside of the chin fall into soft cool shadow and the terrace below stays nearly black. Small drifting white petals catch the moonlight along the arc of the stole, and their number is thinner in the shadowed lower half of the frame. Palette of midnight blue, silver and pale lilac against near-black, no warm tones anywhere but a faint rose warmth in the parted lips. Ethereal, luminous.
