She can almost feel the warmth of the sun on her exoskeleton and the sweetness of the ice cream in her mouth... but a tremor causes a can to fall from a nearby shelf, and the illusion shatters. She's not in those summer days; she's here, now, in the coldness of an abandoned store in the middle of a war zone.
