On the left, a lean young man with sharp, gravity-defying spiky blonde hair and striking cyan-blue eyes stands with his weight settled on his right hip. He is dressed in a dark indigo-black sleeveless ribbed turtleneck top, dark combat trousers tucked into heavy buckled leather boots, and brown leather fingerless gloves. A single bolted steel pauldron is fastened securely over his left shoulder with crossed chest straps. With one gloved hand, he steadies the wrapped hilt of a colossal, heavy iron broadsword featuring two circular perforations near the guard, resting the broad flat blade diagonally across his back. His expression is calm and confident, with a faint, knowing smirk and lowered brow directed toward the lower foreground. Beside him on the right, positioned slightly turned in a three-quarter stance, a fair-skinned youth with parted golden-blonde hair, long face-framing sidelocks, and long pointed elven ears adorned with small blue stud earrings glances sharply over his shoulder with an eager, sharp grin. He wears a bright emerald-green collared tunic cinched with a brown leather belt over an off-white long-sleeved shirt, fitted tan trousers, and knee-high brown boots, with a long matching green pointed cap trailing backward in the breeze. A leather baldric crosses his chest, supporting an ornate longsword with an angular blue crossguard sheathed alongside a blue-and-crimson heraldic crest shield mounted on his back, his right gloved hand resting alertly on the hilt. The two stand back-to-back on cracked granite flagstones edged with sparse alpine grass. Warm directional late-afternoon sunlight streams from the upper right, casting distinct diagonal shadows and tracing bright golden rim light along the honed steel edges of the massive broadsword, the gilded shield trim, and the spires of blonde hair. The wind visibly whips the tail of the green cap and swirls fine stone dust in low eddies around their boot soles. Legendary resolve.
