Rosaura Aquillus

Just six years after the so-called "Apocalypse," Rosaura Aquillus decided to abandon the fledgling settlement she led. Although her daughter Priscilla never learned the reason—simply attributing it to her mother having grown fed up with it all—the truth was that, while the burden of leading and sustaining a developing community in a post-apocalyptic climate weighed heavily on her, Rosaura did not leave because of those hardships. Instead, she believed that only she could handle a particularly delicate matter: the elimination of her former colleagues—scientists turned dangerous cultists. Only Rosaura knew of their existence and of the "Super-soldiers" they intended to use to completely destroy the world (a group Angel was originally meant to join). Knowing her former colleagues had survived the Ruin of Dolorosa, Rosaura ventured into the depths of the Megacity. She did not expect to return, and she revealed her departure to only two people: Alberich Beren, a former police officer who had become her "right-hand man," and Angel, for whom she had developed a genuine fondness. Ultimately, Rosaura Aquillus met her end in the depths of Dolorosa; her daughter never knew where she had gone, and Angel kept the secret of the woman who had been her mentor.
