She needed Himilce for the ritual—knowledge of which she owed to 'Thirst for Promises'—that would bring her face-to-face with Giselle in the latter's own unique dimension. Yet, Glorya had no desire to serve a demon; she was determined to make 'Thirst for Promises' pay for forcing her to resort to such a profane ritual.
