A low-angle profile view focuses on a female horse girl with short, dark brown hair and grey eyes. Her body is grotesquely inflated, her chest and belly swollen and rounded like balloons stretched to their absolute limit, pulling the fabric of her torn racing outfit tight until it shreds across her torso. Behind her, a heavy steel gas cylinder sits on the floor; a thick rubber hose extends from the tank and is inserted firmly into her buttocks. She is leaning slightly forward, weight shifted onto her toes, her back arched by the pressure of the inflation. She looks back toward the viewer with a wide-eyed, flushed expression and an open-mouthed gasp, her chest heaving. The scene is set in a seamless, clinical white studio space, lit by a harsh, overhead fluorescent light that casts a sharp, dark shadow beneath her swollen form and creates a specular glint on the polished surface of the gas cylinder. The palette is dominated by the sterile white background and the dark brown of her hair, contrasted by the bright, strained colors of her tattered outfit. Effortlessly surreal.
