oasis

1girl, seiza, teary eyes, light brown hair, twintails, tank top, hot pants, white thighhighs, from above, looking at viewer, trembling, fidgeting, indoor, tatami room, soft lighting, muted colors, fragile An angled view from above looks down at a girl sitting in seiza on a traditional tatami mat floor. She is captured in a moment of physical distress, her body leaning slightly forward with her weight shifted uneasily; her hands are pressed flat against the mats beside her hips, fingers digging into the woven straw for support. Her face is tilted up toward the camera, her large eyes shimmering with tears and her lower lip trembling slightly. She wears a simple white tank top and short denim hot pants, with white thigh-high socks that cling to her legs. The fabric of the socks is stretched taut where her calves are pressed hard against the floor. The only light source is a soft, diffused glow from a side window, casting a gentle shadow behind her and highlighting the dampness of her eyes. The palette is dominated by the pale yellow-green of the tatami and the stark white of her socks. The air is heavy with a sense of quiet endurance. Fragile.
