A dramatic cowboy shot from below, angled slightly upward into the heavy deluge. A lone figure stands braced against the driving weather on a gravel-strewn concrete rooftop, her weight shifted back onto one heel beside a low industrial parapet. Her iconic floor-length aqua twintails are soaked and heavy with water, clinging damply to the ruffles of her magical girl dress, which is darkened by the downpour and pressed close to her skin. Both hands grip the polished shaft of an ornate magical staff planted firmly against the waterlogged roof surface, her knuckles white with strain. Trembling slightly from cold and emotion, she tilts her head forward; wide, glistening aqua eyes look outward with pained determination as distinct tears spill over her lower eyelids, tracing warm streaks down her flushed cheeks before dissolving into the rivulets of rainwater coursing off her chin. The crystal finial atop her staff pulses with a faint, cool turquoise inner luminescence, casting a delicate secondary glow along her wet fingers, collarbone, and the damp bangs plastered against her forehead. All around her, heavy diagonal rain streaks through the frame, each droplet shattering into a miniature crown of spray upon hitting the puddled roof and the metallic edges of the staff. Water channels steadily along the heavy curves of her twintails, breaking into continuous drops that shear off the tips into the damp air. The vast city skyline behind her recedes into uniform silhouettes veiled by dense, slate-gray storm clouds, under an exclusively cool, diffused overcast skylight that bathes the scene in somber monochromatic tones broken only by her vibrant teal hair and the staff's gentle glow. Heartbroken resolve.
