Viewed from above in a full-body framing, a young woman squats low to the smooth wooden floor with her knees spread widely apart to either side. Bold, dark graphic outlines delineate her entire silhouette, costume, and features. She is dressed as a ballerina in a white leotard fitted to a stiff, horizontal white platter tutu that extends straight outward from her waistline in a rigid, flat disc. Suspended beneath the wide shelf of the tutu, a thin white diaper hangs noticeably sagging, drooping low and slack between her widely parted thighs with messy, crinkled folds, rumpled gathers, and drooping tape tabs. Her bare legs extend downward without stockings, tights, or legwear, her skin unobstructed from hips to toes, with the balls of her bare feet pressed flat against the floorboards while her hands rest lightly on the outer sides of her spread knees to maintain balance. Her head tilts upward toward the elevated viewpoint, her large aqua eyes looking up directly at the viewer with slightly raised brows, a warm flush across both cheeks, and her mouth held in a faint, sheepish pout. Her long, wavy bright orange hair is swept into a high side ponytail fastened with a small heart-shaped hair ornament, sending thick, soft locks cascading over her bare shoulder and chest. A single cool overhead studio light shines directly downward, brightly illuminating the flat upper plane of the stiff tutu and the crown of her head while casting a defined, dark contact shadow immediately onto the boards beneath her low hips and sagging garment. The rigid tulle remains suspended horizontally against gravity while the rumpled, slack diaper material pulls downward toward the floor. Sheepish vulnerability.
