On the left, a tall, rounded bipedal creature with smooth buttercup-yellow skin, a cream-white belly, and black-banded neck and ears steps forward along a path buried in fallen star-shaped foliage. Its weight settles onto its forward right foot, curling and crushing the brittle crimson leaves against the dark forest earth, while its short rounded arms balance cheerfully and its black-ringed tail curls behind, illuminating the underbrush with its smooth red bulb. A thick forest-green wool scarf is wound snugly twice around its banded throat, its fringed edges resting flat against the curve of its chest. On the right, a sleek, quadrupedal creature with velvet jet-black fur stands poised on all fours atop a mossy stone, its slender head turned back over its shoulder so its sharp crimson eyes meet the gentle gaze of its yellow companion. Circular yellow ring markings across its long upright ears, forehead, and slender legs cast a soft golden luminescence into the cool shadows beneath the trees. Around its neck, a mustard-yellow knit scarf is fastened snugly, its folded tails trailing slightly along its sleek flank in the shifting autumn draft. Golden sunlight slants through the maple branches from above, casting dappled speckles of warm light across the black fur and yellow hide, while a gentle eddy of wind lifts a cascade of dry red leaves into the air between them. Serene and warm companionship.
