A separate tight band of black vinyl tape crosses both eyes and another seals her mouth, both pressed flat and edge-clean against the upper face. Above the mouth band her one uncovered strip of skin is scarlet with a violent flush that spreads to her ears and down toward the jaw, damp with sweat, fine droplets caught along the hairline and beaded on her brow; her brows are pulled up and pinched together, the tape over her eyes dented by the squeeze beneath it, the mouth band creased and strained from the wrenched expression held under it, and her head is tipped back and twisted to the side into the pillow. Both hands are bound within the wrap at her sides, the tape bulging over her fingertips. A small hand-drawn heart sits alone in a tiny speech bubble floating beside her flushed cheek. The sheets are torn loose in folds under the arch of her back and the push of her hips, bunched deepest under the shoulder blades and rucked into a trough where her heels skid. A single soft warm key light comes from the upper left, its sheen running along the crown of each taped band and pooling a cool shadow into the hollow of the sheet beside her; the white bedding throws the glossy black wrap forward as the brightest and darkest thing in the frame. Palette is black vinyl, white linen, brown hair and red-flushed skin, nothing else admitted. Mature anime style with glossy, high-finish rendering and soft lighting, the exposed upper face carefully blended with subtle gradients and warm highlights, polished and almost airbrushed, controlled colour harmony and smooth, minimally visible brushwork. Feverish, overwhelmed.
