Mei's Post-Workout Glow | Overwatch

There's just something about seeing Mei after an intense gym session that makes her look absolutely radiant. I really admire how this piece captures her softer side while highlighting her determination! If you enjoy this, please give it a like and follow for more art. Schwarze Kraehe

character: mei_(overwatch), copyright: overwatch close-up, 1girl, solo, mei_(overwatch), chubby, short brown hair, single hair bun, hair sticks, snowflake hair ornament, brown eyes, glasses, bare shoulders, sleeveless, tank top, wet tank top, clinging clothes, armpits, arm raised, hand behind head, armpit stubble, sweaty armpits, dripping wet armpits, sweat, sweatdrops, sweat on face, sweat on chest, dripping wet, wet skin, steam, steamy body, seductive smile, half-closed eyes, looking at viewer, head tilt, gym interior, from side, close-up, shallow depth of field A tight close-up from her right side, cropped at the collarbone and upper ribs, her right side nearer the lens so her face fills the upper third of the frame and her raised arm lifts her armpit into the open center of the shot. She stands in a gym, her torso turned a half-step away from the camera while her chin swings back over her near shoulder, tilted down so her brown eyes look up through half-lowered lids straight at the viewer; the corner of her mouth pulls up on one side into a slow, knowing seductive smile, her lower lip caught glistening with moisture. Her right arm is raised, forearm folded up and back so the elbow points high, the back of her wrist resting against the nape of her neck just under the short brown hair and its single tight bun, the hair sticks and the flat snowflake hair ornament catching the overhead light; the pose throws her armpit fully open to the lens, the hollow slick and dark with sweat, thin dark stubble dotted in an even scatter across the wet skin and laid flat by running moisture rather than shaved clean. A grey sleeveless tank top clings to her chubby frame, the fabric soaked through in dark patches across the chest and along the side seam, the strap pulled aside by the lift of her shoulder, the hem stretched over the soft roll of her belly where she twists. Sweat pours: a fat drop slides down her temple and hangs at her jaw; beads run from the armpit hollow along the underside of her upper arm and collect before falling; a single drop drips from the point of her elbow and stretches thin in mid-air, caught mid-fall. Steam rises off her shoulders, chest and the open armpit in soft curling ribbons that catch the light and thin out toward the top of the frame, condensing faintly on the lenses of her glasses. The gym behind her falls out of focus within a shallow depth of field: dark rubber flooring, the flat grey column of a weight rack, the blur of a bench and a scatter of dumbbells, all reduced to soft shapes so nothing competes with her face and shoulder. Cool white overhead gym lighting falls from above and slightly in front on the near side, peaking wet highlights on her brow, cheekbone and collarbone, leaving the back of her neck and the far side of her shoulder in shadow; a faint warm bounce comes up off the flooring into the underside of her jaw and arm, and the sweat's own sheen pulls pinpoint glints from the whole opened armpit. The palette stays narrow and humid: damp grey fabric, warm flushed skin, brick-dark wet patches, and a cold white-green cast over the blurred equipment. Intimate, heavy with heat.
