A low from-below cowboy shot looks up at a single girl sitting huddled on a plain wooden floor in a bare, dim room: a petite young woman with long green hair gathered into a bun, blunt bangs squared off above her brow, strands of hair beads and a hair ornament trailing at the side of her head, and blue eyes. She has curled forward to hug her own knees, both arms wrapped around her shins, hands clasped at her ankles, chin tucked toward her knees, hips settled low on the floor with the weight tipped back onto her sit bones. Her hanfu-style Chinese clothes bunch and fold at the waist and knees where the squatting pose compresses the fabric. Her face is screwed into a mortified, tight-lipped pout, furiously embarrassed, half-closed eyes sliding sideways toward the viewer, a red blush blooming across both cheeks, and a single comic sweatdrop at her temple. From her rear, behind her hips, a small green-tinted fart cloud puffs out and drifts low behind her back, ringed by a few short motion lines; one hand clamps harder on her ankle as the cloud escapes. The only light is a soft overhead glow that falls on the tops of her knees, her bangs and the crown of her hair bun, leaving the lower corners of the room in shadow and casting a short, soft shadow pooling under her seat. The palette is quiet desaturated wood, the cool green of her hair and cloud, and the warm flush of her cheeks. Cute, awkward, gleefully mortified.
