Zoshug

The Yakani are the largest, most powerful, strongest, and most aggressive of all Goblins. Perhaps only the Thurik Goblins (or Red-hooded Goblins) surpass them in malice, though they far outdo them in ambition. Originally, the Yakani were indistinguishable from the Thraesgi (common Goblins), though instead of serving Humans, they were initially servants of Orcs. With the gradual decline of Orc culture and civilization, and the rise of Humans, many Thraesgi Goblins simply saw their masters change. However, the ancestors of the Yakani were those enslaved by the ferocious and cruel Orcs of Barlak, the worst of Orc society. Having been molded to detest weakness and maximize ferocity, the Yakani were born in the fires of war, rebelling against their creators and taking advantage of the Barlak's inevitable decline. Now free from the Barlak Orcs' yoke, the Yakani spread like a plague across the eastern lands of Paeonia, terrorizing, raiding, and destroying everything in their path. The Yakani organize themselves into tribal-style warbands, with a Warchief at their head (usually the strongest and most cunning Goblin, regardless of gender). However, though they may appear hopelessly brutish, they should not be underestimated, for they are not merely savage but tough warriors capable of employing both complex tactical maneuvers and ingenious strategies born of their natural cunning and resourcefulness (twisted for the sheer act of destruction).
