Y2K
The bridge from the 90’s into Y2K was a short and fast track through technology. I remember choosing to either rent a VHS or DVD along the game cartridges and discs. I was still communicating with a phone call while also leaving messages on AIM. Televisions ditched the antennas, but they were still big, boxy, and bloated. It would only be a few years later when cell phones would become more essential and YouTube would make its mark. So, in this image I am depicting a time when the boys would still gather around for a long night of gaming, feasting, and rough-housing around one screen.
