In the fan-created visual novel Tetro Danganronpa: BLUE, Mutsuko Nishiguchi enters the Kanagawa Futurist Technologies Institute under the title of the Ultimate Pizza Chef. While her talent brings a quirky, hand-crafted "pizza dress" aesthetic to the cast, her personality is completely defined by a cold, yakuza-hardened pragmatism. As the daughter of a prominent organized crime family tied to the Kumamoto syndicate, Mutsuko is a fiercely independent and abrasive presence who greets her peers with a perpetual look of irritation and a sharp, cynical tongue.However, her harsh exterior hides a deeply protective nature, which manifests through her closest friendships with Sou Yaitabashi (the Ultimate Terrarium Artist) and Erina Kumada. Upon discovering that Sou is blind, Mutsuko's rough demeanor softens significantly. She forms a strict alliance with him, physically helping him navigate the dangerous facility and anchoring him through the panic of the game. Together with Erina, the trio forms a tight pocket of genuine trust, actively stepping up to cook meals for the group and trying to keep one another safe. This intense loyalty takes a tragic turn during the "Phobia Game" event, where Mutsuko desperately tries to shield Sou from danger, only to accidentally trap him in a freezer with her—leaving her carrying immense psychological guilt.Mutsuko’s journey ultimately comes to a devastating end in Chapter 2, where she transitions from an investigator to a victim. As paranoia reaches a boiling point under the watchful, malicious eyes of the host, Monomoko, Mutsuko becomes the target of a calculated murder plot. She is found dead from asphyxiation. To deliberately confuse the investigation, the culprit brutally stages her body and places a plant element associated with Kumada into her mouth to frame her closest friends. Her untimely death shatters her trio, leaving Yaitabashi and Kumada devastated as they are forced to solve her murder in the subsequent trial.
