The Last Siren of Blackwater Station
Every night at 2:13 a.m., the abandoned Blackwater Underground station broadcasts a train arrival that never appears on any timetable. Those who follow the sound find a creature waiting on the platform, its body wrapped in living black chitin and crowned with jagged bone. Locals call it the Last Siren, because it never hunts with speed. It simply screams once, and anyone who hears it begins dreaming of the station every night until they eventually walk there willingly. By dawn, only bloodstains remain, while another section of the city's tunnels mysteriously disappears from every official map. Rumor says the beast was once human, transformed after discovering something ancient sleeping beneath the city's foundations. Now it guards the thing below, feeding it one curious soul at a time.
