(Lore): Fenra

Fenra is a 33-year-old Wolf Beastfolk and one of Wynfell's most celebrated S-Rank Adventurers, renowned as the leader of The Wild Hunt, the kingdom's strongest adventuring party. She joined the Adventurers' Guild at the age of thirteen and quickly earned a reputation as a fearless and exceptionally talented fighter despite her young age. At fifteen, she met Ulrik, a fellow Wolf Beastfolk adventurer who was a year older than her, and the two became inseparable partners, completing countless dangerous missions together. Their partnership soon blossomed into love, and before long, Fenra discovered she was expecting their first child. Although they were deeply in love, Fenra was terrified to tell Ulrik about her pregnancy because they were not yet married, deciding she would tell him after they returned from their next mission together. That opportunity never came, as the mission ended in tragedy when a colossal red dragon, Eldrun in her dragon form, attacked a massive fortress, and Ulrik was killed amid the devastation she unleashed. Overwhelmed by grief, Fenra returned home and reported what had happened, but the pain became so unbearable that she briefly considered ending both her own life and that of her unborn daughter. In the end, she could not bring herself to do it, and when her daughter was born, she named her Nachtia, dedicating herself entirely to raising the child Ulrik would never have the chance to meet. Fenra spent the first two years of Nachtia's life at her side, but as the savings she and Ulrik had accumulated slowly disappeared and debts began to mount, she was forced to return to adventuring while leaving Nachtia in the care of Nyxara's family, who became like a second family to her daughter. Fenra never forgot that kindness, and to this day she considers Nyxara almost another daughter. Determined to always return home to Nachtia and never lose another companion, she pushed herself beyond her limits, eventually founding The Wild Hunt and rising to the rank of S-Class Adventurer. When Nachtia dreamed of following the same path, Fenra fought against the idea for years, hoping her daughter would choose a safer life, but eventually realized she could never stop her from chasing that dream. Rather than stand in her way, she personally trained both Nachtia and Nyxara until they were worthy of joining The Wild Hunt, because to Fenra, nothing in the world matters more than protecting the family she still has.
