One of the Five Absolutes, The 5th Absolute, Absolute Null. It deserted its Ego and Sense of Self. It has the attribute of shapeshifting and being able to use other people's magic, as long as it can shape-shift into it. Now due to him shape-shifting so many times, he lost his previous identity, and his name along with it. He gain the title of Absolute Null in Operation Silent Garrison. The crisis took place at a critical frontline stronghold known as Fortress Gable. A highly disciplined, elite rebel legion had successfully infiltrated the fort, taken the high ranking officers hostage, and locked down the walls with complex, heavy defensive Magic. If the organization launched a standard assault, the rebels would execute the hostages and turn the fortress guns on the surrounding cities. High command deployed the Faceless Shapeshifter alone, with a simple directive: Neutralize the threat. Moving through the shadows, it began quietly replacing individual enemy sentries one by one. It would mimic a guard’s face, copy their exact vocal frequency, adopt their posture, and assume their post. The rest of the rebel garrison had absolutely no idea that their own squad mates were being systematically replaced by a silent, blank-faced void. When the rebel commander called an emergency war council inside the inner sanctum to finalize their terms, he looked around the room at his four trusted lieutenants. As he began to speak, all four lieutenants went completely rigid. Their faces fluidly melted and shifted into the exact same blank, features-soft, white form of the shapeshifter. The commander panicked, drawing his blade and unleashing his signature, lethal magic technique. But the four copies of the shapeshifter moved in flawless, terrifying unison. They perfectly mirrored his stance, countered his blade tracking with his own exact muscle memory, and used his own tactical blind spots against him. Within seconds, they had physically disarmed him and pinned him to the floor. The shapeshifter had reduced an entire elite army’s strategy, identity, and lethal intent to an absolute nullity. The high brass officially closed the file and stamped it with their new title: Absolute Null.
