Admiral Victoria Holloway was a high-ranking officer in the Solar Confederation's space navy during the nation's final years. Born into a powerful family from the Confederation's American Sector, she benefited from blatant nepotism that secured both her naval career and her meteoric rise through the ranks, eventually leading to her command of the *Myrmidon*—humanity's largest and most prestigious space warship, albeit one that was significantly outdated. Her strategic shortcomings were offset by her blind zeal for the Confederation's cause of securing space dominance for humanity—a sentiment that intensified as humanity confronted the alien Esh Sh'khez race. She took part in both the First and Second Esh Sh'khez Wars, though her incompetence and lack of strategic ability were glaringly apparent in both conflicts (culminating in the destruction of the *Myrmidon* after the Second War). She also participated in the purges of factions and worlds that defied the Confederation's central authority during the interwar period, suffering humiliation during the "Castra Regina Disaster." Victoria’s career ended in disgrace: she was stripped of her command and honors, then imprisoned and awaiting execution for her disastrous conduct during the Second Esh Sh'khez War. It remains unknown whether the sentence was carried out, as the Confederation descended into extreme instability in early 4175 AD; the Esh Sh'khez launched a renewed assault on human space just before the events known as the "Apocalypse" began on Earth, devastating the planet.
