Yui Koizumi & Takeshi Oizumi — Age 16 | High School During her school years, Yui really struggled with the exact sciences: mathematics, physics, and chemistry. They always gave her a very hard time. That's when Takeshi would come to the rescue — he was at the top of his class in those subjects. He helped Yui prepare for end-of-term exams. Mostly, they would stay after hours at school for these cram sessions. During these study sessions, Takeshi couldn't help but gaze at his beloved Yui with a tender smile. He found a special charm in the puzzled expression on her face as she tried to make sense of a difficult formula. To himself, he thought, "I'm just glad I can be the one to help her." Thanks to this prep work, she wouldn't get perfect scores, but she consistently passed with solid marks — much to her great relief, she'd sigh and go back to her true passions: singing and studying English. Speaking of which, the favor was returned when it came to English; she would help out Takeshi, as that subject was quite a struggle for him. It was a classic case of mutual tutoring.
