A tall, imposing altered human male warrior, heavily muscular and broad-shouldered, standing in a powerful battle-ready stance. His body is unmistakably human in anatomy, but prolonged exposure to underground magical rituals has permanently transformed him. His skin is a dull, desaturated gray, still organic and living but unnaturally rigid and hard, with a texture reminiscent of weathered stone without actually being stone. Brilliant cyan magical energy shines through numerous cracks in his flesh, as though his body has become a vessel overflowing with an immense supernatural force. The glowing cracks spread across his chest, abdomen, shoulders, arms, and other exposed areas, irregular and organic rather than decorative. Cyan light leaks intensely from within these fissures. He is bald. His face is largely obscured by a weathered olive-green cloth wrapped around his lower face, neck, and shoulders, with portions of the cloth trailing backward into a ragged, tattered cloak. Above and around the exposed portions of his face, stark white ritual paint extends vertically from the top of his bald scalp down across his forehead and face. His eyes burn with an eerie gaseous cyan energy, appearing less like ordinary glowing eyes and more like luminous supernatural vapor contained within his eye sockets. The intense cyan glow around his eyes and the magical cracks throughout his body make him appear as though arcane energy is constantly trying to escape from inside him. His body is protected by elaborate dark gray and blue-gray fantasy armor consisting of numerous overlapping and sculpted plates. The armor is heavily ornate, combining practical heavy-warrior protection with ancient ritualistic decoration. Turquoise and cyan magical accents are incorporated throughout the armor, echoing the energy bursting from his flesh. His powerful arms are partially armored with segmented plates while leaving portions of his altered gray skin exposed, allowing the glowing fissures beneath to remain visible. One shoulder bears a large ornate golden-brown studded armlet. One of his hands is wrapped in tattered olive-green cloth and golden brown chains. Around his waist hangs a long olive-green cloth battle kilt or waistcape, consisting of several heavy overlapping panels that extend down around his legs. The cloth is decorated with subtle ancient patterns and organic ornamental designs and has an uneven, worn, somewhat tattered lower edge. Additional pieces of cloth and armor overlap beneath it. A long, tattered olive-gray cloak trails behind him from his shoulders, hanging almost to the ground. His legs are encased in elaborate segmented plate armor. The dark gray armor is covered with intricate engravings, sculpted reliefs, ornamental patterns, circular cyan magical emblems, and turquoise inlays. The armor has an ancient ceremonial quality despite its obvious battlefield purpose. Large armored plates protect his thighs, knees, shins, and feet while allowing the olive-green battle kilt to hang between and around the armored sections. In one hand he carries an enormous fantastical battleaxe designed for both crushing and cleaving. Its massive head has broad, heavy opposing faces with blunt, warhammer-like striking surfaces combined with large curved cutting edges, making the weapon capable of both smashing through armor and cleaving through opponents. The axe head is made of dark charcoal-gray metal and is covered in intricate etched patterns and curling arcane motifs. The etchings glow with the same intense cyan magic radiating from his body. A long black shaft supports the weapon, with wrapped bands around the grip. A decorative pointed spike projects from the top of the weapon, while a circular ornamental piece decorates the bottom of the shaft. Both are primarily aesthetic rather than functional. The entire character gives the impression of a human warrior who has survived something that should have destroyed him. He is not undead and not a construct, but a living man whose flesh has been fundamentally changed by years of magical experimentation and ritual exposure. His body appears to be barely containing an enormous reservoir of arcane power, with cyan light constantly leaking through the cracks in his hardened gray flesh and glowing from his eyes. His equipment feels ancient, ceremonial, brutal, and practical at the same time.
