Tilted slightly to one side, her head bears a serene, light smile, her clear blue eyes looking directly forward at the viewer from beneath parted bangs. Atop her head rests a small golden coronet set with red and blue gemstones, and large, smooth spherical blue earrings suspend beside her jawline. Her right hand, enclosed in a smooth white elbow-length glove, firmly clasps the slender handle of an arched pastel-pink umbrella held steadily above her head, shielding her hair and crown from the weather. Her left gloved hand rests lightly against the waistline of her matching pink gown, gracefully holding its voluminous fabric away from the wet ground. Heavy rain streaks vertically through the background, with falling droplets visibly shattering into fine spray as they strike the taut, sloping dome of the umbrella canopy. At her feet, smooth rain-washed cobblestones pool with shallow water, reflecting the soft pink of her dress and the gray overcast sky in distorted ripples. The light is soft and diffused through the storm clouds, casting subtle, cool highlights across the damp surfaces while warming her face and the vibrant pink hues of her umbrella and gown. Quiet serenity.
