## Neomi, the Wandering Smithlord **Race:** Dwarf **Class:** Warsmith **Occupation:** Smithlord / Magitech Engineer **Role:** Engineer, crafter, heavy support, mobile workshop ### Appearance Neomi is a petite adult Dwarven woman with a youthful appearance, chubby cheeks, large expressive eyes, and long straight pink hair, usually tied into twin tails. Her small stature is deceptive. She travels inside her own oversized exoskeleton armor, equipped with massive mechanized gloves capable of delivering punches powerful enough to rival an Iron Golem. Mechanized greaves and boots help her travel long distances without exhausting herself, while a reinforced back unit lets her carry an absurd amount of equipment and materials. Her traveling equipment includes her enormous hammer—which serves both as her weapon and forging hammer—an anvil, portable forge, tools, spare mechanical parts, raw materials, and even enough equipment to turn her forge into a cooking stove. To Neomi, this isn't excessive equipment. It's simply **being prepared.** ### Story Neomi is one of the **Smithlords of the Dwarven Kingdom**, a respected master smith whose reputation could have secured her a comfortable life among the greatest craftsmen of her people. But traditional smithing was never enough for her. While other smiths perfected metalworking, Neomi became fascinated by **magitech**—the combination of magic and engineering. She dreams of creating machines where magic and technology work together naturally, producing tools that make life easier, safer, and better for everyone. So she left the comfort of the Dwarven Kingdom and began traveling. Her oversized exoskeleton became both armor and workshop. Its reinforced limbs give her tremendous strength, its mechanized boots carry her across great distances, and its back unit allows her to bring practically an entire smithy wherever she goes. Neomi is also a mother. She has been pregnant five times. Two pregnancies ended in miscarriage, while three children survived. Her first surviving child, a son, was born from a Dwarf chosen by her father. He is now being trained to eventually succeed her father's position. Her other two surviving children are twins—adorable little babies currently being cared for by their human father's mother while Neomi continues her journey. She loves her children. She loves her family. But she also loves invention. And for now, the greatest question in Neomi's life isn't whether she will eventually return home. It's **which home?** The Dwarven Kingdom? Her children? Her workshop? Perhaps all of them. Whenever someone asks when she plans to finally settle down, Neomi merely laughs. “After I finish my magitech masterpiece!” Then she tightens her enormous mechanical gloves, checks the forge strapped to her back, and marches toward the next adventure. After all, the perfect harmony between magic and technology won't invent itself.
