He rests his weight back on his heels with his spine lazily curved, his head tilted slightly toward the viewer. His rounded white skull bears a broad, fixed toothy grin; his right eye socket is an empty void of deep shadow, while deep inside his left socket burns a brilliant pinpoint of glowing cyan light that casts a delicate cool sheen across his left cheekbone. Both hands remain casually buried deep inside the front pockets of his unzipped royal-blue jacket, drawing the heavy fleece fabric forward against his hips. The jacket's hood, bordered with a thick rim of plush off-white fur, rests loose across his shoulders over a plain white crewneck shirt, paired with loose black knee-length shorts marked by a single white stripe down each outer seam, and soft pastel-pink slip-on slippers resting flat on the stone ground. To his side, towering pointed-arch windows filter wide diagonal shafts of warm amber sunlight across the hall, illuminating floating dust motes that drift exclusively within the luminous beams while leaving the surrounding colonnade in cool, deep slate-gray gloom. The polished stone floor beneath him mirrors the arched window frames in darker, softened reflections, accompanied by long cast shadows reaching across the tiles. Effortlessly laid-back, quiet dread.
