From a slightly elevated angle looking across a wooden ramen shop counter, a horse girl sits leaning forward toward the viewer with her purple eyes locked in an engaging, direct gaze. Her hair features a two-tone blend of warm brown with distinct white strands, cut in neat blunt bangs across her forehead and bound into two long, thick braids that drape symmetrically over her shoulders. Perched atop her head is a crisp white beret, fitted around two upright horse ears protected by dark ear covers, while her glossy brown horse tail curves behind the stool. She wears a crisp collared top accented by a broad sailor collar. Caught in the middle of eating, her lips are softly parted in a warm, bashful expression with faintly flushed cheeks. In her right hand, she grips a pair of dark wooden chopsticks, lifting a tangled mouthful of glossy ramen noodles above a deep ceramic bowl; her left hand holds a white ceramic soup spoon directly underneath to catch droplets of rich, savory broth. On the polished grain of the counter beside the steaming ramen bowl sits a clear glass cup filled with cold water, its outer surface beaded with fine condensation. At the soft-focus periphery of the frame, the cropped shoulder of another seated diner is faintly visible, keeping the composition strictly focused on the girl. Warm overhead pendant lamps bathe the counter in golden tungsten light, casting delicate reflections across the oily surface of the broth and illuminating translucent ribbons of steam that twist upward into the air. Cozy and warmly intimate.
