An eye-level three-quarters view looking toward the starboard side of an F-16 fighter jet on the textured flight deck of an aircraft carrier just before launch. Strapped securely into the ejection seat inside the detailed cockpit, a teenage female pilot with chestnut-brown short hair and warm brown eyes wears a sage-green military flight suit, torso harness, and an olive flight helmet with the visor raised above her brow. Her oxygen mask is unlatched on the right side, dangling beside her jaw to leave her lively, smiling mouth uncovered. Her left gloved hand rests atop the canopy rail, flashing a confident thumbs-up outward. Standing on the non-skid carrier deck just below the forward fuselage, a catapult deck officer in a high-visibility yellow deck jersey, heavy gloves, and cranial helmet with ear protectors faces up toward the cockpit, returning the thumbs-up gesture in mutual send-off. Above the deck officer, a clean white speech bubble points toward the cockpit and displays the bold lettering "グッドラック". The bubble canopy rests propped open above the pilot, revealing glowing green multi-function cockpit displays and the HUD glass. Thin plumes of white catapult steam vent from the deck launch slot beneath the nose gear, shredding into wispy horizontal ribbons in the brisk sea crosswind. Direct morning sunlight glints across the haze-grey fuselage, casting sharp diagonal shadows along the deck and illuminating the determined, high-spirited expression on the pilot's face. High-octane camaraderie and focused resolve.
