Happy Birthday Elaina! (17/10)

Anyone who has followed *Wandering Witch: The Journey of Elaina (Majo no Tabitabi) has surely been captivated by her signature ash-colored hair, clear purple eyes, and iconic witch’s hat. But what makes me love Elaina most isn’t just her appearance or her innate magical talent it’s her personality. Elaina isn’t a hero out to save the world. She is simply a traveler, an observer journeying through various kingdoms, witnessing the full spectrum of human joy and sorrow. At times, she can be quite pragmatic even a little self-absorbed yet she is also incredibly perceptive, always maintaining a free, unconstrained spirit. Every land she visits and every story she records in her diary carries a unique tone sometimes sweet, other times profoundly harsh. 🧭 On the occasion of Elaina’s birthday, I wish for our "Ashen Witch" to always hold onto her pride and curiosity, and to keep spreading her wings toward new horizons. A huge thank you to author Jougi Shiraishi for creating such a wonderful character! Which story from Elaina’s journey left the deepest impression on you?
