1girl, solo, beautiful woman, adult, silver hair, very long hair, wavy hair, ponytail, extremely long ponytail, red eyes, vertical slit pupils, slit pupils, curvy, large breasts, wide hips, thick thighs, narrow waist, hourglass figure, one-shoulder dress, asymmetric dress, bare shoulders, looking at own hand, hand turning into stardust, dissolving hand, particles, glowing particles, floating, floating upward, outstretched arm, from side, profile, close-up, dutch angle, head tilt, wide-eyed, parted lips, half-closed eyes, from above, night, dark background, volumetric light, rim light, backlight,
A dramatic three-quarter close-up from slightly above and to her side, tilted a few degrees off level, so the frame holds her from mid-thigh to the crown of her head. She stands turned in profile to the right of frame, her torso angled away from the camera and her head tipped down and forward — chin low, the long fall of her throat exposed — as she follows the thing happening at the end of her own arm. Her right arm is lifted and extended in front of her chest, elbow bent, wrist turned so the back of her hand faces her; her left arm hangs slack against her hip, fingers curled loosely, forgotten. She is caught mid-turn, weight settled onto her back leg so that one hip pushes out and the other drops, and the one-shoulder gown cuts a single diagonal band across her upper body: the fabric climbs over her far shoulder and leaves the near shoulder and the whole slope of that shoulder bare, then pulls snug across her large breasts and gathers at the narrow waist before it pours down her hips in heavy folds that trail out of the bottom of the frame. The gown is deep indigo-violet, matte, faintly dusty at the hem.
Her silver hair is the longest thing in the picture: gathered high at the back of her head into one immense wavy ponytail that falls past her waist and coils out to the side of the frame, its loose S-waves catching the backlight so the crests read almost white and the troughs drop to a cool grey-blue; it sways back and away from her shoulders as if she has only just turned, and the fine hairs at her nape and temples lift free of the mass. Her face is turned three-quarters away from the lens, cheek and jaw in profile. Her red eyes are wide open, irises a deep blood-crimson lit from within at the rim, and each is cut by a tall black vertical slit pupil; the lids are lifted, the lower lid tense, so the look is not fear but stunned, rapt attention. Her lips are parted on a breath she has not finished taking, one corner pulled slightly higher than the other.
Where her hand used to be, the transformation is happening and it is travelling: the fingertips and knuckles have already gone, and the back of her hand is breaking apart into fine glittering motes that lift off the skin in a slow column — each grain drawn upward and slightly back toward her face, so a thin rising ribbon of sparks climbs out of the ruined edge of her wrist and drifts above her fingers. The edge of the change is warm — a soft gold-amber line where the skin is still skin, the boundary soft and joined rather than cut, the last solid surface thinning into translucent flakes. Her own eyes are fixed exactly on that boundary; a few of the motes cross her line of sight and catch on her lashes, and one small spark hangs in the air an inch from her lower lip.
The world behind her is near-black, a deep blue-violet dark with no visible horizon or walls, and she is lit from behind and above by one cool silver moon-like source that lays a bright rim along her silver ponytail, the curve of her bare shoulder, and the top edge of her breasts and hip, leaving the front of her body and the underside of the gown in deep shadow. A second, much weaker warm source rises from the stardust itself: the motes are the only warm colour in the frame and they throw a small gold pool of light up onto the underside of her chin, the inside of her lifted forearm, and the wet shine of her lower lip. Everything else is cold — silver, indigo, and the dark. The lifted dust grains are in sharp focus and bloom slightly; the great mass of her ponytail is softer at its far edge; the empty ground is a flat featureless deep gradient. Palette is exactly silver-white, deep indigo-violet, blood-red and a single warm gold, nothing else admitted.
Sparse drifting particles only in the air directly over her hand, none elsewhere. Quiet, melancholy enchantment.
