Emma Kaede Winters

Emma Kaede Winters (冬原 恵真 楓, Fuyuhara Ema Kaede), or simply Emma, is a composed and empathetic individual guided by rationality, gentle warmth, and the discipline of listening before speaking. She spent her childhood near the Fuyuhara Shrine, serving part-time as a miko, where she learned patience, attentiveness, and a quiet sense of responsibility that continues to shape her character. Later, she moved from the quieter, more reserved north to the busier, noisier south to study psychology at the prestigious Hillside University in New Fransokyo. She was introduced to Marisa’s group through Sophia and initially saw them as loud and unruly delinquents, keeping a polite distance while discreetly observing them. Over time, she is drawn in more by circumstances rather than choice. After realizing that she has a subtle competition over Henry stems from her suppressed emotions and Marisa's possessiveness, she chooses to keep the tension inside rather than confront it.
