Scarlet Devil Mansion Days Off
Sakuya did not bring a camera. Instead, the entire gathering had been orchestrated by a certain ordinary magician who had dropped out of the sky just moments prior. Marisa Kirisame had been flying over the mountain when she spotted the unusual splash of red and scarlet near the Hakurei Shrine. Sensing an opportunity for some fun and perhaps a chance to peek at Patchouli’s latest grimoire, she landed her broom with a flourish. From her apron, she pulled out a heavy, enchanted camera she had borrowed (without asking) from Aya Shameimaru. "Hey, don't move! Everyone face the gate!" Marisa shouted, balancing the heavy camera on her shoulder. "Perfect timing, the light is great right now!" The sudden intrusion caught everyone off guard, frozen in their exact positions. "Marisa, we are not here to be your subjects," Remilia remarked coldly, though she didn't lower her lace parasol, automatically adjusting her posture to look perfectly elegant for the lens. Beside her, Flandre smiled brightly, her crystal wings shifting slightly to catch the sun. "Just one shot, Lady Remilia!" Marisa grinned, peering through the viewfinder. "Meiling, keep that relaxed look, it's perfect. Sakuya, put the knives away or actually, keep 'em, it looks cooler." Sakuya sighed, keeping her expression neutral but holding the silver blades ready just in case Marisa tried anything foolish. Patchouli ignored the commotion entirely, deeply engrossed in the glowing blue pages of her book, while Koakuma gave the lens a playful, knowing smile. In the front, the fairies were entirely distracted by the shiny object in Marisa's hands. "Is that a magic box?" Cirno squeaked, turning quickly to Rumia while gesturing toward Marisa. "Hey, look over here! We're gonna be in a picture!" Rumia blinked in mild confusion at the lens, her gaze drifting toward the camera, while Daiyousei smiled warmly, happy to be included in the moment. "Hold still..." Marisa muttered, adjusting the focus ring as a stray gust of wind scattered pink cherry blossom petals across the stone path. "Three, two, one..." Click. The flash went off, embedding the quiet afternoon into a single piece of enchanted film.
